Pinterest in the wrong hands (i.e. mine) can be dangerous! After searching for new ways to cut up a workout tee, I came up with this Wolverine-meets-Blue-Man-Group idea! Cute and quirky? Or wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen??
All I did was take a blue Gap workout tee I found at a thrift store and cut diagonal slashes starting on my left shoulder and going down to my right side. Took two minutes, tops. I’ve worn it twice to workout in – both times were tough workouts with lots of movement and sweat – and so far no Lindsay Lohan moments!
What do you think of the tee-cutting trend? Should I leave it to high schoolers? Any of you t-shirt cutters too?! I swear I don’t own a single workout tee that I haven’t altered in some way:) Life’s too short to be boring! I’d love more ideas if you have them!

Other Stuff I Wrote
Does airbrushing even shock you anymore? Me neither. And yet I was still kind of sad to see these celebs/actresses ‘shopped to look less muscular. Although this quote from one major editor – “I spent the first 10 years of my career trying to make girls look thinner and the last 10 years trying to make them look healthier” – was both fascinating and telling. Check out the whole slideshow
Cindy Crawford is Shape’s covergirl this month and I got to do a 25-year retrospective of all her looks. (Hint: Gorgeous, gorgeous and gorgeouser). Even better, she seems to be as nice as she is beautiful with lots of charity work and an adorable family.
“Herbal” is often code for “bogus” but there are some really helpful ones if you know where to look. Check out these 10 herbal remedies that really work.
I also like “altering” my clothes! I have had quite a few fails though!!
Cool look! I have that same shower curtain in your background.
I think you rock the t-shirt cutting! I don’t think I could pull it off, but I’m not good at coming up with designs like that either.
Hope you got my email regarding the Commitment Day race.
OH great! Totally a sign that I need to get moving! Thanks for the entry and I’m hoping it’ll be a beautiful Minnesota day 🙂
