Just a quick note to let you know that I won’t be online today either answering e-mails or blog comments. (Okay, after this.) I’m going to the funeral for Mike, a wonderful friend and one of the funniest people I’ve ever had the pleasure to know. He lost his battle with cancer last Saturday and the world is a darker place without his light. Today will be about honoring his memory and doing what (maddeningly little) I can for his sweet wife and three young children.
Go hug someone you love, right now! And if you’re not a hugger go… give someone an overly effusive compliment until they wonder if your morning commute involved a knock to the head or a rabbit hole! And thank you for any prayers, kind thoughts or well wishes for his family.
